Fullback Rugby Sports

Fullback is one of the places in rugby league football. Wearing jersey number 1, the fullback is a member of the team's back-line 1-7. The position's name comes from their duty of status the utmost back in defense, behind the forwards 13-8, half backs 7 and 6 and three-quarter backs 5-2. Fullbacks are therefore the last line of defense, having to tackle any resistance players and relater the ball from any kicks that make it through their team-mates. It is for this reason that the fullback is also referred to as the sweeper or custodian. Fullback is also a significant position in attack, handling the ball nearly every set of six and often running into open space on the field. With the two half backs and hooker, fullback is one of the four key positions that make up what is referred to as a team's 'spine'.
Because the fullback makes the most support runs, players in the role absolute more very high-intensity running than any other position. The Rugby League International Federation's Laws of the Game state that the 'full back' is to be numbered 1. Traditionally players' jersey numbers have wide-ranging, and in the modern Super League, each squad's players are assigned entity numbers regardless of place. For the upcoming tour, we are looking at players who can play in more than one position and understand those positions to come up with the desired results,” the tactician added. With Kenya seeking to bounce back after their early momentum in Adelaide and Dubai was halted at Port Elizabeth, the team pledged to find their way back to the top. The Hong Kong Rugby Sevens has grown into one of the biggest rugby events on the international sporting calendar with teams from the world’s top rugby nations competing in lightning-fast 15-minute matches in front of 40,000 spectators.

GPS System for Kenya National Rugby Sevens

For the first time, the Kenya national rugby sevens team will have Global Positioning Satellite facilities analyzing the performance. Kenya Rugby Union (KRU) has partnered with service provider Gammin to roll out the system that will allow coaches to make calls on players by using data availed by their performances in matches and training. This emerged on Wednesday during the naming of the squad for the next two legs of the HSBC World Sevens Series in Wellington, New Zealand and Las Vegas as the competition reaches its mid way mark with Kenya lying sixth on the log. We will start using the GPS systems as early as next week. The units are already in the country and we will start with ten units to monitor ten core players including the seven on the pitch.
The system helps in monitoring the heart and work rate of the player. We will be able to make decisions in an informed way such as during substitutions. We will know whether the player is tired or is not training since we can monitor a player every day,” Philip Jalango, the national team’s elite performance official at KRU explained. Team captain, Andrew Amonde, hailed the introduction of the satellite system saying it would help in evaluating the players’ output. They will enhance the performance of our players and help the management in building better players. We are looking forward to see the positive things they will bring to our team and we welcome them,” the skipper added.
The most important thing to understand is that the changes are positional and we are looking at the combinations to work through. Non-travelling reserves are crucial because it’s a crucial time and there is a short turn around between New Zealand and Las Vegas and Hong Kong and Japan, Felix Ochieng, the assistant coach and analyst who named the squad outlined. 2013 Hong Kong Sevens started from 22 March 2013 at Hong Kong Stadium. England Won Women Six Nations Rugby Tournament

Inspiration is the biggest problem for a team toward the inside a competition they have won seven times in a row, six of them with a clean sweep. It will not be for England's women, though, as they begin the latest defense of their Six Nations crown, because 17 of their squad have been without them for this year's event, including the entire favorite back division. The England women's rugby team should be recognized by now as a gravely inspirational outfit. Not only are they on seven Six Nations titles, they are unbeaten in their past six matches against New Zealand. They have a management group working on strategy; and it is its finding that they should be aiming to win the two World Cups women's rugby will be contesting over the next two years  the Sevens World Cup at the end of June in Moscow and the XVs next year in France.
They wanted to give the player coaching staff the best opportunity to win the two World Cups," says Sarah Hunter, who will be captain for this Six Nations. It makes it a challenge for us. Fair chunks of our squad have gone off to play, which is fantastic. We're fully behind them. Where it leaves us is with a new crop of players coming in, which is really good. A lot of them have a few caps but haven't necessarily had an opportunity to establish them. Now they have it. And next year, when it's our turn to have a shot at a World Cup they can say they want to be a part of it. England are facing a treacherous few weeks. As if winning the title seven times in a row is not enough to wind up the opposition, being seen to remove some of their best players from this year's competition may cause outright offence.
England going into it with an inexperienced squad, they are likely to expose themselves to some angry international rugby teams. As rugby players you want to be challenged and work hard. If it's a nail-biter, you get more of a buzz from winning those games and you learn more about yourselves as well. These are exciting times for women's rugby. Inclusion in the Olympics may well prove more of a boon for it than for the men's game. Certainly, it raises the stakes for this year's Sevens World Cup, hence England's radical selection policy. 2013 Hong Kong Sevens started from 22 March 2013 at Hong Kong Stadium. Underwater Rugby (UWR)

Underwater rugby (UWR) is a water sport that has its beginning in the physical fitness preparation of German diving clubs and has small in ordinary with rugby football apart from for the name. It is played underwater in a pond with a depth of 3.5m to 5m and goals weighty metal buckets with a width of about 40 cm at the bottom of the pool. Two teams blue and white, each with six players and six replacements, try to score a goal by sharing the slightly unenthusiastically buoyant ball filled with saltwater into the opponents’ goal. It is a fast and fatiguing game therefore, the subs replace their players on the fly.

The ball may be passed in any course but must not leave the water. It "flies" about 2m or 3m before water confrontation stops it. This makes good tactics and good positioning necessary. The players can use different capability, force, speed and simply low utilization of oxygen is all also essential. Not many people play underwater rugby, so it is frequently played in varied male-female teams. Since 1972, when the game was documented as a sport by the Union of German Sport Divers (VDST), official German championships have taken place. It is an informal German Championship took place in 1971. The first German Championship was detained in Mulheim, of course, and the first German winner was TSC Mulheim.
In 1978, underwater rugby and underwater hockey were officially recognized by the World Underwater Federation CMAS, and from 28 to 30 April 1978, the first European Championships took place in Malmo, Sweden, and from 15 to 18 May 1980, the first World Championships in Mulheim. The act of the play-the-ball is sometimes referred to simply as 'playing the ball'. To return the ball to play correctly, the tackled player must.
  • Have stopped forward progress
  • Have both feet on the ground;
  • Place the ball on the ground in front of one foot and;
  • Roll the ball backwards by use of the boot.

From the moment the ball is rolled back by the tackled player's boot, the next phase of play begins. The 'dummy half' is the term used to refer to the player who then picks up the ball and resumes his team's attack.
It is located between the player playing-the-ball and the defending marker.
The ruck exists during the time between a tackle being finished and the following play-the-ball being completed. The ball cannot be obstructed with by a protecting player whilst it is in the ruck, if not a penalty will be issued against that player's team. A penalty is also issued alongside the violent team if the player accountable for playing the ball, does not play it properly. Many penalties in rugby league happen in and around the ruck. 2013 Hong Kong Sevens started from 22 March 2013 at Hong Kong Stadium. Buy Hong Kong Rugby Sevens 2013 Tickets online at HKS7T. The rugby ball's distinguishing shape is apparently due to the pig’s bladder, although early balls were more plumb-shape than oval. The balls varied in size in the commencement depending upon how large the pig’s bladder was. Until 1870, rugby was played with a near spherical ball with an inner-tube made of a pig's bladder. In 1870 Richard Lindon introduced rubber inner-tubes and because of the pliability of rubber the shape increasingly changed from a sphere to an egg.
In 1892 the RFU endorsed ovalness as the compulsory shape. The gradual destruction of the ball continued over the years. A rugby league football, as used in the NRL. A Gilbert rugby football as used in rugby union. The foreword of synthetic footballs over the traditional leather balls, in both rugby codes, was in the beginning governed by weather circumstances. If the playing surface was wet, the artificial ball was used, as it didn't absorb water and become heavy. England rugby union is widely regarded as an organization sport, played mostly by members of the upper and middle classes. Many students at public schools and grammar schools play rugby union. Rugby league has conventionally been seen as a working class pursuit. An exception to this stereotype is evident in the adjacent countries of England and Wales. In England rugby union is connected with the public school system. In Wales, rugby is connected with small village teams which consisted of coal miners and other manufacturing workers playing on their days off.  In Ireland, and in particular Leinster, rugby union is also linked with private education and the D4 typecast, and this image of the spoilt, ignorant, wealthy rugby-playing jock encouraged the best-selling Ross O'Carroll Kelly novels. There is great Support for both regulations is concerted in New South Wales, Queensland and the Australian Capital Territory in Australia.

All Blacks Sevens-2012 Runners-up

The New Zealand National Rugby Sevens Team is the New Zealand representative team in rugby union sevens and competes in the IRB Sevens World Series, Rugby World Cup Sevens and the Commonwealth Games. On June 1, 2012 the team's name along with the New Zealand Maori team was officially changed to the All Blacks Sevens. They won ten of the thirteen IRB Sevens World Series Champions. Since 2000 when the series first started, the only times they have not won were in 2006 when Fiji were crowned champions, 2009 won by South Africa and 2010 when they Runners-up to Samoa.
In the 2006-07 series, it was missing until the last round at Murrayfield, Edinburgh, to realize who would win. If Fiji had won their quarter-final against Wales then they would have won the series but they lost 21-14. This meant that New Zealand required winning the final against Samoa to win the title. With a believable six tries to one, 34-5 shoreline, they did just that and were put the finishing touch to champions. The 2007-08 series saw New Zealand set quite a few records. They became the first team in the nine-year history of the IRB Sevens to have won the first four events of a season, having won the Dubai, South Africa, Wellington and USA competitions. In USA Sevens, they broke their own record, set in 2001 and 2002, for most successive match wins in the IRB Sevens. The team comprehensive their streak of tournaments won to the first five of the season, and a record seven in general, by defeating South Africa in the final of the 2008 Hong Kong Sevens
Their record streaks of 7 tournaments champions and 47match winners finished in the final of the Adelaide Sevens with a 15-7 defeat to South Africa. Although they would defeat to England in the Cup quarterfinals of the next event, the London Sevens, they won the second-level Plate final, giving them adequate points to secure the 2007-08 series crown with one round to extra. 2012 Hong Kong Sevens Rugby Runners-up Team (New Zealand) Tries aimed to win Title at 2013 Hong Kong Sevens started from 22 March 2013 at Hong Kong Stadium. Rugby International Tournament

Seven-a-Side international tournament is with no a doubt the most spectacular, foreign, best organized Rugby struggle of its kind in the world, and it has constantly produced the highest typical of Sevens Rugby seen anywhere.
I was not surprise on my first appointment to see superiority play from the Australian, New Zealand, Fijian, and British players, but I was spread over a period of time at the wonderfully high excellence play produced by countries I never even knew played Rugby. South Korea and Western Samoa was every bit as good as Japan and Tonga. Malaysia, Thailand and Singapore originate their lack of sheer size and bulk an impossible handicap, but touching each other they displayed a range of running and organization skills which demand unqualified admire.
Papua New Guinea, Sri Lanka and the Solomon Islands were predictably outgunned by the teams from the major Rugby-playing nation but they still have extremely high level of skill which promises well for the future of the game.
