England Won Women Six Nations Rugby Tournament

Inspiration is the biggest problem for a team toward the inside a competition they have won seven times in a row, six of them with a clean sweep. It will not be for England's women, though, as they begin the latest defense of their Six Nations crown, because 17 of their squad have been without them for this year's event, including the entire favorite back division. The England women's rugby team should be recognized by now as a gravely inspirational outfit. Not only are they on seven Six Nations titles, they are unbeaten in their past six matches against New Zealand. As if winning the title seven times in a row is not enough to wind up the opposition, being seen to remove some of their best players from this year's competition may cause outright offence. 

England going into it with an inexperienced squad, they are likely to expose themselves to some angry international rugby teams. As rugby players you want to be challenged and work hard. If it's a nail-biter, you get more of a buzz from winning those games and you learn more about yourselves as well. These are exciting times for women's rugby. Inclusion in the Olympics may well prove more of a boon for it than for the men's game.
